Dress Code
If you have a Vet class on either or both Tuesday/Wednesday, you are required to wear your Vet Academy polo shirt.
Wednesday is Current Events Day-a current event about animals or veterinary science issues. It must be written in black or blue ink. These are easy grades to achieve.
Don't forget that a Vet Polo or T-shirt and only closed-toe shoes can be worn to any volunteer or outside event. We need student volunteers for every event.
There will be an announced professional wear day and later in the year, announced scrubs wear day. On a daily basis, you are representing all members of the Veterinary Academy and should dress accordingly. The dress code can be found in student handbooks and online at the Pinellas County Schools web site. There are strict new policies in place regarding dress code violations.
Remember too, you need five voluntary Booster Club hours per semester. This is not part of the 100 volunteer hours for the overall Academy program. If you volunteer to work at the Vet Sci concession stand during the football games, you MUST wear your Vet T-shirt and closed-toe shoes.
